Microsoft Solution Architect | Cloud | SharePoint | O365 | Lync - Perth

About the role

You will have a deep technical background in Microsoft technologies, with a broad solution and technical architecture capability including a focus on the latest versions of Office 365, Lync and SharePoint.

You will be passionate about adding value to the projects, clients and colleagues that you work with. You will be innovative, keeping up to date with the latest technologies and embrace working with a company who supports your continuous training and development. You will like solving problems and always be willing to lend a hand when a colleague needs it.

The following skills and experience are also required:

  • 8+ years of experience delivering projects in complex Government and/or Commercial Enterprise environments
  • Strong experience in designing, building and configuring Microsoft solutions based around Office365, Lync and ideally SharePoint
  • Knowledge and understanding of foundational directory, security and networking principles required to support Office365, Exchange and Lync
  • Knowledge and experience with the complexities of migration and transformation of Enterprise and Government environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, a thought leader in this field, it’s likely that you are already a sought after presenter
  • Work with our customers to understand functional and business requirements and make appropriate technology recommendations
  • Develop technical specifications based on functional requirements
  • Experience with mainstream development methodologies and frameworks including Agile

Sitecore Architect / Consultant - Perth

Senior Microsoft BI consultant- Melbourne

About the role

Due to Ignia’s continued growth, opportunities exists for highly skilled and autonomous Senior Business Intelligence Specialists/Architects to join our Melbourne team.

In this role you will own and drive challenging projects and work with customers to understand functional and business requirements and design appropriate solutions.

To be successful in this position you will have the following…

  • Deep experience in the SQL Server product suite, including SSAS, SSIS and SSRS.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions using the Microsoft Power BI platform OR extensive tabular modelling experience including DAX
  • Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills combined with sound judgement.
  • Proven ability to develop technical requirements based on business imperatives.
  • Ability to write quality high level and detailed architectural diagrams, strategic roadmaps and technical documentation that communicate customer vision.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead consultants across multiple work streams with 5+ year’s technical/team lead experience
  • Experience implementing IaaS and PaaS offerings in Azure such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
  • MS Certifications / exposure to industry and IT methodologies & frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL and agile.
